It’s Ash Wednesday for us Catholics, which is a day where we reflect on what it means to make sacrifices and be grateful for what we have as we head toward Easter.
Don’t worry… I’m not here to preach to you. To each his own in that regard…
But it does remind me of an important trait all investors MUST have if they want to survive Wall Street and be a successful trader and investor.
Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent, which is when we give up certain things in life — sacrifice — in preparation for Easter. For myself, I cut out meat and alcohol.
And that all lends itself to one of the most important traits someone needs to be a good trader…
